Waitin'

Well, I'm ready to go but now its a waiting game. I'm scheduled for a heart cath in 90 minutes and I'm ready and waiting.

I've waited for things all my life. We all have. We waited to get taller, though I'm still challenged in that area. We waited to become teenagers, to get our driver's license (though some us should have never gotten one), we waited for our first date, kiss, High School graduation, maybe college or grad school. We waited for mom and dad to "let go" and "let us go".

Now, as we grow older we wait for our children to give us grandchildren, then great-grandchildren. We wait for promotions, more income . . . then retirement. We waited to see what the doctor says next about our health.

All our lives are about waiting.

Psalm 27: 14 says:
Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD.

I guess I am still waiting, with joyful anticipation for God in Christ.

Regardless of what they find with my heart, my heart is with God.

If I have many days, years ahead or few, my hope lays in God. And regardless of the wait and timing of God; any days offered by God is a promotion.

I can wait and yet . . . . . I can't

Be well,

~Webb
