Whose grave is this???

I am not much on hate articles but when it comes to Cindy Sheehan. My heart goes out to her for her loss and I, as a Patriot Guard Rider, would salute her son, Casey and his service for our country. However, to take advantage of her son's death for personal gain rankles my sense of justice. Protesting is one thing, profitting is another. At the tragedy of one's own son's death is thoughtless and irrational.
Casey chose to enlist after 9/11 with the understanding he may have to enter a war zone. His death, while tragic, is honorable. His mother's actions dishonor his service.

What Is This Picture?

Sadly, it's the grave of Casey Sheehan.

After three years, and a Dept of Defense payment of $250,000 to the "Peace Mom", Cindy Sheehan has not had the time or bothered to have a headstone placed on this young hero's grave. And, she doesn't even have to pay for one, the Dept of Defense will provide one:

"The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) furnishes upon request, at no charge to the applicant, a government headstone or marker for the grave of any deceased eligible veteran in any cemetery around the world. For all deaths occurring before September 11, 2001 , the VA may provide a headstone or marker only for graves that are not marked with a private headstone. "

Flat markers in granite, marble, and bronze and upright headstones in granite and marble are available. The style chosen must be consistent with existing monuments at the place of burial. Niche markers are also available to mark columbaria used for inurnment of cremated remains."

Apparently she can find time to protest on at least 3 continents, get arrested various times, go on vacation in Hawaii, have photo ops with the Marxists in Venezuela, but can't seem to find the time to properly mark her son's grave.

Ever wonder what the expression "stuck on stupid" meant? Well here is an example:

The grinning idiot clinging to Je$$e Jack$on is Cindy Sheehan... the sob sister who protested the war at Bush's ranch, who lost her son in the war, the same son she gave up in her divorce when he was 7 years old.

And by the way if you wonder why she has so much free time ... she is going through another divorce right now and guess what? She is giving up custody of another son.

As Forest Gump once wisely proclaimed, "Stupid is as stupid does."

Laugh!

I love humor. Having grown up in a family of comedians and pranksters, mainly my dad and brother, I learned to enjoy all sorts of humor. Working as a chaplain in Trauma Centers across the Plains, Midwest and East Coast I have developed a morbid sense of humor as well. Some sarcastic, some witty, and too often critical. Also, at times, inappropriate.

Humor is God's way of healing the body. This is why it is important to laugh when we are hurting emotionally. To smile when a harsh word has been spoken. Laughter and humor release endomorphins in our system that act as 'anti depressants'

So LAUGH and do it OUT LOUD!

#1...Why do we press harder on a remote control when we know the batteries are getting weak?

#2..Why do banks charge a fee for "insufficient funds" when they know there is no money in the account?

#3...Why does someone believe you when you say there are four billion stars, but check when you say the paint is wet?

#4...Why doesn't glue stick to the bottle?

#5...Why do they use sterilized needles for death by lethal injection?

#6...Why doesn't Tarzan have a beard?

#7...Why does Superman stop bullets with his chest, but ducks when you throw a revolver at him?

#13..Why do people constantly return to the refrigerator with hopes that something new to eat will have materialized?

#14..Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance?

#15..Why is it that no plastic bag will open from the end you first try?

#16..How do those dead bugs get into those enclosed light fixtures?

#17..When we are in the supermarket and someone rams our ankle with ashopping cart then apologizes for doing so, why do we say, "It's all right?" Well, it isn't all right so why don't we say, "That hurt, you stupid idiot?"

#18..Why is it that whenever you attempt to catch something that's falling off the table you always manage to knock something else over?

#19..In winter why do we try to keep the house as warm as it was in summer when we complained about the heat?

#20..How come you never hear father-in-law jokes?

#21..If at first you don't succeed, shouldn't you try it like your wife told you to do it in the first place?

#22..And obviously if at first you don't succeed, then don't take up sky diving!And my FAVORITE......

#23...The statistics on sanity are that one out of every four persons is suffering from some sort of mental illness. Think of your three best friends, if they're okay, .then it's you.

East German Shoot-to-Kill Order Is Found

"BERLIN, Aug. 12 — Seventeen years after German reunification, archivists have found the first written proof that East German border guards had been ordered to shoot to kill anyone trying to escape to West Germany, including women and children.
Deutsche Presse-Agenture, via European Pressphoto Agency

A 1962 photo showed East German guards with the body of a man who was shot when he tried to cross the Berlin Wall.

The seven-page order, dated Oct. 1, 1973, was discovered last week in the regional archive office in the eastern German city of Magdeburg. Though unsigned, it shows that the Ministry for State Security, known as the Stasi, had told guards that they must “stop or liquidate” anyone trying to cross the border.

“Do not hesitate to use your firearm, not even when the border is breached in the company of women and children, which is a tactic the traitors have often used,” the document said. "

If you click on the title of this blog it should link you with the NY Times article from which the above quote came

I don't think anyone who reads the article is surprised by its revelation. The West has always been suspected and even accused the East (Soviets) of murdering people trying to flee to freedom. What is surprising is coming across documents revealing the startling truth (allegedly).

Can this be believed? Yes, because of eyewitness testimony of the "60s and '70s. Do we want to believe these killings happened? No, because it goes against all our moral and humane values.

It does make me ask this question.

Has the United States engaged in similar acts ?

YES

A COLD FRONT COMING NORTH

The facts on the bottom of the page highlighted in blue will shock you! How Long Do We Have?

About the time our original thirteen states adopted their new constitution in 1787, Alexander Tyler, a Scottish history professor at the University of Edinburgh , had this to say about the fall of the Athenian Republic some 2,000 years earlier:

"A democracy is always temporary in nature; it simply cannot exist as a permanent form of government."

"A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury."

"From that moment on, the majority always vote for the candidates who promise the most benefits from the public treasury, with the result that every democracy will finally collapse due to loose fiscal policy, which is always followed by a dictatorship."

"The average age of the world's greatest civilizations from the beginning of history, has been about 200 years."

"During those 200 years, those nations always progressed through the
following sequence:

1. from bondage to spiritual faith;
2. from spiritual faith to great courage;
3. from courage to liberty;
4. from liberty to abundance;
5. from abundance to complacency;
6. from complacency to apathy;
7. from apathy to dependence;
8. From dependence back into bondage"

Professor Joseph Olson of Hemline University School of Law, St. Paul, Minnesota , points out some interesting facts concerning the 2000 Presidential election:

Number of States won by:
Gore: 19
Bush: 29

Square miles of land won by:
Gore: 580,000
Bush: 2,427,000

Population of counties won by:
Gore: 127 million
Bush: 143 million

Murder rate per 100,000 residents in counties won by:
Gore: 13.2
Bush: 2.1

Professor Olson adds: "In aggregate, the map of the territory Bush won was mostly the land owned by the taxpaying citizens of this great country. Gore's territory mostly encompassed those citizens living in government-owned tenements and living off various forms of government welfare..."

Olson believes the United States is now somewhere between the "complacency and apathy" phase of Professor Tyler's definition of democracy, with some forty percent of the nation's population already having reached the "governmental dependency" phase.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegal's and they vote, then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.
